Massassi Level Pack 5.5?
2010-01-11, 7:08 PM #1
...so to speak. Not an official level pack, but maybe the rest of us who didn't finish our entries could get together and work on something. The reason for a pack being that, these days people are more likely to download and play through a pack than they are to bother with individual levels.

I don't know how we would organize this or if there should even be a hard deadline, but is it something people are interested in?

I'd be game, but some of us might not be done for a long, long time.
And when the moment is right, I'm gonna fly a kite.

Seeing as I missed the deadline, yes.

Set a deadline, I'll refine Gromas Mines to how I envisioned it and resubmit a more polished version.

If ZeqMacaw would get me the source code to ZED, I could add a few bug fixes and tweaks that would, for me at least, drastically increase productivity.

trying to edit the source code of JED takes balls. serious balls.

it'd be easier to start over assuming there exists free time.

I've got like 4 or 5 (maybe more) unfinished JKA levels started by myself, Brian, Det, GoY, and Kirby on my Hard Drive... we could put together another JKA pack.

A JKA pack would be good since the levels don't need to be big and elaborate, and it would be easier for people get get them done in a reasonable amount of time.

I will, again, volunteer my time to judge it.
It's quite fun.

DSettahr will you finish my level and let me put my name on it? I'll let you be lead level designer. In reality, it's probably wrong and you'll end up redoing the whole thing to my specifications.

If the level pack is scheduled for this year I'll definitely have PJNS ready and better than the demo. Im down on it.

I'm still working on my SP level. I have 2-3 major areas left for architecture/texturing, then lighting, cogging, enemy placement, etc. It will take me probably a month or two, realistically (since I can only work on it ~5-8 hours per week).
