Here I am at school. I'm hiding out in the band room today since I've decided not to go to my classes. I'm failing half of them anyway. I'm sick of my friends, my family, my life, and my future.

I'm eying the guitar strings, they look like they could cause some fun pain.

Or instead, ban someone. Try ubuu, I hear he's an *** :-P

But seriously, why don't you make a signifigent effort to change these things? I mean, they won't change on their own.

Yes, that's what I ended up doing actually. I messed around learning the A major and E major chords, and trying to switch between them as quickly as possibly. Also practiced the E major scale, so I could get used to moving around the fretboard.

Oh yes, there is. Every classroom has a computer with internet access now, since attendance is actually taken online.

I've been meaning to learn how to hack that... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

Wow, a lot of people are getting depressed lately. Could it be the weather or just an odd coincedence?

My theory, proably wrong but :/, parents are less strict, kids are getting lazy, kids have a lot more freedom and are spoiled, they don't communicate as much because of it, so when kids have problems nowadays instead of talking to their parents or any adult they just sulk about their problems all day. It seems kids would rather play games or get piss drunk then do work, and when they get scolded for being lazy, or when they get confused they get sad.

There's a difference between having bad days and being depressed. There's really no evidence to indicate that teenage depression rates have changed radically over the past 100 years.

I'd say, yes that theory is wrong, at least in my case.

I have a part time job at the local grocery store, a large (at least for two people) mowing business, I participate in cross country, track, and the High School Band, I've never had a drop of alchohol in my life. Oops, I don't talk to my parents enough! Surely this is the source of all my problems!

Seriously, SAJN, I'm not saying you shouldn't post your opinion, but being a tad more considerate wouldn't hurt.

It's impossible to voice an opinion or theory without offending SOMEONE, so I don't even try anymore.

i was just theorizing why I think some people might be depressed.

It's also impossible for someone to disagree with someone's opinion without that person becoming offended.

How the devil are you failing all your classes if school just started? It's only been going for two weeks, so there's plenty of time to fix any problems.

Quite possible. Alot of people suffer from SAD (seasonal affective disorder) even if they don't realise it, not getting enough sunlight is actually really bad. I tend to only take antidepressants/see counsellors in the winter, I'm usually ok in the summer.

I mean like winter depression. People are generally more moody with the short days, and the coldness etc...
