I only have inFAMOUS. However, I have played through both Uncharted games, both Resistance games, Dead Space, and LittleBigPlanet.

So, Aside from Demon Souls, and MGS4... I don't know what to get. I'm waiting for FFXIII obviously...

Most anything that's not exclusive I get on 360. GTA, Assassin's Creed, ect.

All 3 Ratchet and Clank games on PS3 are pretty fun platformers. (Tools of Destruction and Crack in Time are full games, Quest for Booty is a $16 downloadable game that's kinda short so you may want to pass on it)

Ninja Gaiden Sigma if you never played the original version on Xbox, and Sigma 2 if you never played the original version of 2 on 360.

That's all I can think of as far as exclusives go that you didn't already mention.

Wipeout HD.
nope.
2010-01-14, 8:25 AM #4
I might give R&C a try. I don't currently have internet at home so downloadables are a pass. I can't really play Ninja Gaiden. Every one I've played in the past infuriated me at its difficulty. Cool game though. Thanks for the suggestions.

The God of War I and II bundle is pretty good (don't let these knuckleheads talk you out of God of War II, the puzzles are not that hard).

I will likely get that, I liked the first, even though I couldnt get past the blasted pillars with spikes on them in hell.

You know, I found that part to be really hard and made me swear a lot. I got mad and didn't play for 3 days. Then I tried it again, and beat it first time. It was dumb.
2010-01-14, 10:45 AM #8
I would second the GoW collection! Two great games, and the graphics are considerably smoother and nicer. Nice to have everything on one disc as well.

Regarding the pillars, I actually got through it in one try my recent playthrough. Got that nifty trophy to go with it! (epeen!). And Steven is right, GoW II puzzles are not hard at all. I think for the most part they are a lot better than GoW I.

The hardest puzzle in part two was the one with the bodies and the water in that circular room. Took me a while. Wasn't hard, just had me scratching my head as to how.

I'm really looking forward to GoW III, the demo is great.

Avenger doesn't read 4 words into the thread. :P
nope.

I actually bought a PS3 today, and along with it I picked up MGS4, Uncharted 2, Little Big Planet, and Street Fighter 4.

I keep switching between MGS4 and Uncharted 2 because I don't want either one to end and it seems like they will last longer if I don't play them all at once like I otherwise would.

You don't get to 40,000 posts by reading.

Hey, I read and I'm halfway to Avenger's postcount.

Sonic 2006, best game in the series.

Thirded on the GoW collection. I never played the series until now and I'm loving it.

I hear Demon's Souls is pretty good if you like smashing your head off of a cement block.

Killzone 2 is fun except for the irritating boss battles on the harder difficulties. A solid rental, the multiplayer isn't really that active anymore. It's not perfect, but it's worth playing.

Demon Souls is pretty good, but it's a hardcore game.

I'm going to buy that next paycheck because I have a feeling that it'll be one of those games that you'll only be able to find for $120 on ebay pretty soon.

Demon's Souls? Nah, not the regular copy. The Deluxe edition is fetching ~$200+ now. I regret not getting it... Being part of the Atlus Faithful, you'd think I would have.

After my first 2 days of owning it, I logged off and noticed that I had already put in 30 hours of gameplay. I kinda stared at the screen and thought ... "really? I could have been doing something productive"

Sadly, I find myself saying the same thing these days. Unfortunately, the only productive thing I can do right now is save money, and by playing games (since I have about 7 I haven't beat) I save money by not going out and doing 'productive' things.

*shrugs*

Oh well. Life goes on.

What I mean is that if you don't pick up a copy while it's on the shelves now you won't be able to find a cheap copy in the future. It routinely sells out at a lot of places.

Well, that may be true in a year, but I'd be willing to bet this is one Atlus title that actually makes it to the Greatest Hits list.

Demon's Souls
MGS4
Uncharted 2

(all already mentioned)

Valkyria Chronicles - sweet tactics games with good graphics even if it is a little anime-looking.
Bayonetta - The good version of Devil May Cry 4

Atlus didn't make the game, they just published it in Amurrika

Just got Wipeout HD + Fury, and Trine today.

By the way, if anyone wants to add me to the PS3 friends list, I had to open a new account due to a lame *** bug. So my PSN Network name is Ashvroth

Yeah, but I don't think any title with Atlus stamped on it has ever made a greatest hits list.

Out here in Quebec, its near impossible to find Demon's Souls. I had to do 12 places to find a copy. Had to pay 60$ CAN for it, used. The used Deluxe edition was selling for 100$ CAN.
