Nah, say what you like about them, they know their business. Changing the eggs would be bad business, I think they'd know better.

Kraft used to have a plant or factory or some such thing in my ex-girlfriend's hometown. They somehow managed to pollute the town's water supply and got it closed down, ridding the inhabitants of the town of all their jobs. Good job, Kraft.

EDIT: And on the point of what chocolate tastes better... I hate all of it, but I have extremely sensitive teeth and all of it causes me extreme pain.

American chocolate has more preservatives in it than ours such that it won't melt as readily in the warmer states. Our chocolate is traditionally very milky (and obviously our tastes have got used to that), so milky in fact that in Europe it cannot be branded as "chocolate" unless the cocoa content is raised.

Case in point, Kit Kats (my dad worked at the York Rowntree/Nestle factory for 30 odd years) are made with various chocolate coatings depending on the market. The German one was reportedly the best.

So it boils down to what you're used to.

About 18 month's ago they took over "Terry's" with the same claims as they have with Cadburys; striving to keep the existing business, everyone will be keeping their jobs etc.

18 months and the Terry's factory has been shut down, all the staff laid off and production moved to Poland.

[Edit - Also I challenge you all to name at least 1 Kraft product that's any good.]
nope.

If your vomit tastes like chocolate, you should start a market of your own.

Yeah, the Kraft takeover/rapeover of Terry's has ****ed York. Nestle's move on Rowntree wasn't much better.

Yeah, seeing as Cadbury's are one of the biggest employers near Birmingham and about the only thing in Bourneville I'd hate to see what would happen then they **** them over.

Cadbury's differs from area to area, for instance the Australian stuff uses vegetable oil in it rather than milk and it's fairly well documented that the stuff they sell in the states is pretty bitter.
nope.
