i bought some special beers today



Prykmestar savu is finnish smoked beer, very rich in flavour and the smoke comes out very nicely. the small bottle with red label is some finnish microbrewery's product, haven't tried that yet. the rest are german.

Nope, not drunk yet. Not even drinking yet. But then again, it's only a little after noon now. But tonight, I definitely will be.

I haven't drank in months... I just want some nice whisky over some ice...

I was already wondering where did the beer threads go.

I woke up this morning pretty early because the howling wind wouldn't let me sleep. So I went and ran 3 miles. Then I started to feel a hangover coming, so I went to the store down the road and bought a gallon of water, a gallon of gatorade, and a package of extra strength alka seltzer. The girl at the checkout started laughing so hard she started crying. It didn't help that my button up was inside out and I was wearing my sunglasses still.

Vitus is awesome.

I really tired. With me, I think that counts.

Going out tonight, I'll take a couple of bavarias... that should be enough. I need to drink tomorrow again too, you know...

Bumping rather than make a new thread. Central Market is selling all beer 20% off, so I went out and bought a sixer of Sierra Nevada Bigfoot, bombers of Lagunitas Gnarlywine and Rogue Chocolate Stout, a 750 of Unibroue Terrible, and an imperial pint of Wells Banana Bread Beer. Two that I just buy whenever they're available, and three more I've been wanting to try.

Right now, doing a side-by-side of the '09 and '10 Bigfoot. It changes so much in a year, they might as well be completely different beers.

I GOT DRUNK TONIGHT HELL YEAH

It's the last day of my sig op course, so I should be drunk, but no. I have the grad parade tomorrow, and I'd rather not puke all over the commandant's shoes when I go to accept my certificate. I'll save that for Thursday night

God I want some beer. I haven't had any for three months now.

Finished with the Rogue Chocolate Stout. That's got so much chocolate in it, it makes Young's Double Chocolate Stout taste like a... regular stout, I guess. Probably a little more hop bitterness than was strictly necessary to balance the chocolate, but I'll take it.
