well now that it's died down it's not as bad, but hurricanes are unpredictable so personally i'd rather be safe then sorry.
Last time only certain areas were having to "boil water" because of pollutants etc. and the canned foods isn't because of "nuclear" this or that. It aint that dramatic. It's as simple as not having electricity to cook raw foods, so you get ones you dont have to cook and dont go bad without the electricity of a fridge.
It's the common sense of having lived in FL for a while and having been through lots of hurricanes to where it's happened in the past, that the other food have become unedible etc. And it's not about "staying in the house," but my family hardly eats out at restaraunts, unless for an occasion of some sort, it's cheaper to cook at home.
anyways though, I was worried, because it is supposed to make landfall back home where I grew up. and I have lots of friends down there that I have grown up with. Whatever though, hopefully it'll stay at a category 3. even if it is just 70mph winds it still sucks somewhat. O well luckily NOW it has died down (and as you put u wont get killed now that the winds are slower)whatever though, hopefully it'll stay that way. if not, o well at least I know my family is prepared

Lets finish it then, let us be rid of it...I can't carry it for you Mr. Frodo, but I can carry you...Come on!
