Cycling Desktop Wallpapers
2010-01-30, 7:09 PM #1
I've found a bunch of high definition wallpapers for my desktop, and I remember someone saying in one of the desktop threads that they used a program that cycled through a collection of pictures when their computer starts up. I searched Google for something like that and found "wallpaper master", which works but it doesn't load the program and change it until the previous wallpaper has already been up on screen for ~15 seconds. It's not a big deal, but does anyone recommend a similar program that comes into effect faster (or a way I can trigger this program to initiate before other startup programs).

Your help is appreciated. :awesome:

I tried the thing in MAZZTer's post, but unfortunately it did the exact same thing as what I already had. Does anyone know of a way i can get it to start up before stuff like Avira? I tried searching and could only find how to for windows processes.

This is what I found with google, but if your problem is in the startup procerss order then I think you might have to make do

Yeah Explorer starts up before anything else is allowed to on logon, and by that time your wallpaper has been on the screen already.

I think there is a program that sets your wallpaper for NEXT boot when it is run on startup, but I can't find it.

I just found a program called Wallpaper Boot Master based on what you just posted, so I'll try it out and see if it works better.

Like I said, it's not a big deal; it's just that the main time I see my wallpaper is when I first get on my computer, so a program that changes the wallpaper on reboot but doesn't kick in until I'm already ready to start doing something else seems pretty pointless.
