I need a riddle!

I need a good riddle with the answer being 'Life'. I've searched and searched on google and I can't find anything decent. Any good suggestions from you philosophical types :eng101:
Lyrics are highly overrated.

An intangible [female dog] that sucks and blows?

This are just off the top of my head but:

The longer you have it the worse you look but you'll never look worse than when you let it go.

What has no weight, no monetary value, yet is the most precious to you?

The longest thing you're ever going to do (technically that ones live, also I think I may have stole it from Terry Pratchett)

It begins and ends with you.

There's probably betters ones out there, but that's not bad for having just woken up and firing up the rusty ole' imagination.

Some say it is rare, though it may be abundant.
Often is it said to be too short, though many think it is too long.
Every person has one, but it is still precious.

Yeah I dunno. Whatever Deadman said.

Was a cancelled TV show with the guy from Band of Brothers where cops played Prince of Persia to access Excel files to catch a killer.

The only true POP is the first one. All other prince of persias have been abominations.

He said to them: "You examine the face of heaven and earth, but you have not come to know the one who is in your presence, and you do not know how to examine the present moment." - Gospel of Thomas

Tenshu, are you talking about the sidescroller? [edit: just noticed the video since I'm not on my cell phone anymore so nvm)

As for the topic:

Cats are said to have nine. I wish someone had told me that they don't share...

That's not very cryptic at all, but hey, it could be a Deadman quote!

Okay how about:

What do the people trapped in my basement not have?

I went to see a doctor, he told me I won't be having this soon, so I said "I swear I didn't know she was your wife!"
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

Sands of Time, whilst needing more puzzles (and a very slight tweaking in combat) is the best in my opinion.
