I'm trying to retrieve videos I uploaded as I lost the original copies and need them in avi/wmv format. I've seen alot of programs but I don't trust alot of them - I was wondering if anyone had any tips or known virus free software that I can download.

I can get the video but no sound for some reason using that link. Don't know why the audio isn't working. I have video atleast for now so cheers! Any other ideas will be much appreciated - even a free flv converter that's trustworthy would be good.

Go to desired youtube video. Press the newly created button. A download link should appear in the video description box.

I've seen firefox extensions that do that, is there a reason you don't trust them?
