I was gonna point out that 'insomnia' is spelled wrong but this is awesome. Someone needs to make a site where both are played simultaneously looped. :awesome:

Hmmm that song ain't just right for me, but the rain recording is nice, of course.

Rain makes it harder for me to sleep.

If there were no horns in the song it'd be perfect. I love string sections to sleep to.

I just thought I'd clarify for those who didn't understand. :ninja:

EDIT: I do wish the rain site would have left out the thunder and birds though. Otherwise, I've used this to help me sleep sometimes:

I have satellite radio with DISH Network, so I usually listen to Classic Vinyl, Elvis Radio or 60s on 6 while I go to sleep.

I've found the cure - it's called get up early, work out, go to work, work hard, and don't eat or drink ****, and you'll fall fast asleep.

Oh wow I totally missed that. Yea I found rainymood like 2 days ago, that **** rules.

No, I meant don't eat or drink crap (fast food, sugar, etc.), not "don't eat anything."

Masturbation.

Either or work 100%. :D

I would think the former would work far better.

Yeah that doesn't actually work for an insomniac, just so you know.

I doubt most of the posters here are clinical chronic insomniacs. Most are nerds who watch too much TV/computer, alchies who drink too much, or fatties who eat the wrongs foods.

Haha, he's so proud of his "successfully long" thread that anyone else could have made and been equally "long."

People seem to often say they are an "insomniac" as much as others state they have "OCD".

Yeah, that totally doesn't work on me, but I have actual insomnia, not just 'trouble sleeping'.

I know there are a large number of people who claim to be insomniacs, similar to jackoffs who claim to have OCD. There are actually people out there who have the real version of these things.

I wake up at a respectable hour almost every day (sue me sometimes I sleep in). I work out religiously. I don't go to work, but that's only because I haven't gotten a call from the mine yet. When I do start work at the mine, I'm sure I'll be doing enough "hard work" to meet your standards, Steven. But that aside, I still do quite a lot of work around the house in a given day. I still don't sleep well.

EDIT: Also I will admit that I am a recovering alcoholic, but I've had no luck with sleeping since I was about 5. I started drinking primarily because it made it easy to sleep.

You spend your life on internet, and you're proud of being the first person to post a popular topic that someone else would have posted anyways. On an obscure internet forum.

Go outside. Seriously.

This is pretty much my lifestyle and I love it, and Im seeing good results from it. Once in a while I'll go through a small phase where I have insomnia for no reason at all.
