Canada also broke the gold medal count record for any host country for the winter olympics with this win.

P.S. So what if it was double elimination? So what if we were one away from losing? The fact is, Canada didn't and a fine game was played, and we came out on top.

That was an incredibly close game. Ryan Miller was like a brick wall for the most part but the States' offensive players just couldn't maintain control of the[dont do that]. When they scored in the last 60 I nearly peed myself. Honestly I couldn't care less who won, the adrenaline was just pumping through my system the whole way through.

Yes!

Best moment I saw was women's snowboarding? where the lady in first place started showboating and crashed out, then got back into it but couldn't get enough speed up and was overtaken at the very last second. Brutally funny.

Seriously though, what these olympics have done for this country will be talked about for a long time to come. I don't think we will see another event like this for us until we're quite old.

Agreed. The atmosphere in Canada was absolutely amazing. I usually don't watch TV, but I found myself in front of it practically everyday during the events.
