Check it out, find one of your edited posts and you can compare the edits.
I'm not sure why, but I thought I would bring it up.

I beleive CM said it was so admin's could see pre-edited posts (so you can't do something incredibly offensive and then switch it around before mods see)
You can't judge a book by it's file size

CM fix the bright color background on the edited bit, it's hard on the eyes. :(
