Apparently was the name of the guy who wrote the stuff on the walls in Portal. It's also usable as a username/pass combination (drattman / h0nee) on the Aperture Science BBS thing they've been doing, if you all kept up with that news.

I always liked thinking all the writing in Portal was from several different "test subjects" who were trying to collaborate together and inform future participants about what was going on.

I hope this means that Ep3 is coming soon too.

I fully expect the portal gun to be picked up and used on the Aurora in Ep3.

I can't help thinking if they released Episode 3 on the Source engine, even updated, it would look so dated. At least with a new Portal game, the stark visual aesthetics would mask the engine's limitations. L4D2 does look significantly aged despite being released a few months ago, but I don't complain because it runs quite well on my laptop.

Heard the same thing. They were looking at end of this year but its getting pushed back to next year.

That probably means Portal 2 won't come with Episode 3, which hopefully means Portal 2 and Episode 3 will be massive games on their own, too much for a multi-pack

I hope they end Half-Life here, its so good now, just end it before people get tired of waiting and sick of the story. It's been a decade, lets not turn into Doom here.

Yeah I was reading that yesterday, a lot of the article pics are from the BBS ASCII art. There was a pic of two "androids" holding hands... I thought it might be the coop player characters, and I was right. :D I also thought coop might be a prequel to Portal, with the normal story being a sequel to Portal. I was right there too. :)

Uh it was composed by Jonathan Coulton and sang by Ellen McLain, voice of GLaDOS. And covered by a number of different people. Someone from Massassi even had their band do a cover, they pronounced "Mesa" wrong. :(
