I saw the trailer for this in the cinema last weekend while watching the trailers before "Alice in Wonderland" which I thought was rather good. The trailer gave me cold chills. "The Black Hole" & "Tron" are probably my favorite 2 Disney movies.

Im not sure but the first Tron was the first or second movie in history that was partially created with early CGI technology, but a lot of blue screen was used.

I am so going to nerd out to this movie. Also, the Daft Punk score sounds awesome.

I have been excited for this ever since the teaser was leaked at 2008 Comic Con.

Daft Punk is doing twenty-some tracks, which should be epic.

I don't get what all the hype is. Besides the CGI and nostalgia value, I really don't see anything special about it; at least not from this trailer. Lets hope I'm proved wrong.

I'm glad that this is a true sequel, and not a re-imagining.

Looks kind of sweet. The original Tron is one of those movies that everyone goes on about, yet I've never seen. I need to correct that.

Unless one grew up with it I think one would find it hard to appreciate it, but I may be wrong.

Ugh... =/
I can't wait for the day schools get the money they need, and the military has to hold bake sales to afford bombs.

Agreed. I know a few kids today that can't even sit through "The Goonies" which was pretty much the best movie in my day. I don't know why others are excited about this film, but I personally love the atmosphere & mood of the trailer. Disney movies like "The Black Hole" & "Tron" really stood out from all of their other movies.

I don't know, I always thought tron had a really cool look to it. Theres something really cool about how their faces are in black and white. Makes it look almost like a movie from the 40s.

Plus, daft punk is perfect for this.

I never saw the Goonies as a child, saw it when in mid-teens and basically was like wtf is this bull****. Because it doesn't stand on its own merits, just the shallow appetites of children~! AND NOSTALGIA! ****!

Thing is, kids nowadays would enjoy the concept of Tron just as much as we did back in the day.
They'd want updated graphics though =p
