Graduation + 1 (May 2010)
Job + 1 (Warner Bros. Music)
Location + 1 (Los Angles)

Overall Happiness = ∞

A few new developments that I am rather excited about. The album that I did the design / layout for (Serj Tankian - Elect the Dead Symphony) came out worldwide on March 9th 2010. So far I've gotten the digipack version with the CD/DVD combination and I am very proud of the overall package. The entire layout consisted of 145 revisions and three months of work to finish all three (CD/DVD, CD, Vinyl) layouts. This work has given me an entirely new outlook on the graphic design process and has made me realize the importance of revision and critique. I have yet to see how the Vinyl or the jewel-case CD versions came out, but I'm getting some promo copies in the mail soon. (I'll post pictures of the final layouts when they come in)

In semi-related news, I am graduating in May, moving to L.A. in June and becoming a permanent resident of the glorious state of California. I'll be working for Warner Bros. Records once again, and am looking forward to being pummeled by the inevitably horrific earthquake that awaits me.

That is all. I am simply very excited and had to vent before my pants exploded. Apologies to those of you who entered this thread and expected a topic with actual content that you could build upon and use to create an intelligent discussion. I've let you down once again. (/end blog)

I don't think I've eaten at any of those places- the really good places I recall eating are The Vegan Plate (some of the best food I've had, period), Astroburger (great Vegetarian burgers...pass the Cholula please!), some really expensive cafe place in Beverly Hills at like 3am that had the BEST sandwiches I've ever had...It may have been il Tramezzino. (4 sandwiches + 1 desert = 75 dollars), Jerry's (sort of generic american food, but nice kind of cafe atmosphere), Leonor's Vegetarian Mexican (a-freaking-mazing), The Counter (There will never be a better burger joint), and also there was this ridiculously expensive but incredibly worth it sushi place that I can't remember the name of. Also I ate at the Warner Bros. Cafe daily, and I can honestly say I never got sick of the food. It was amazing day after day and at a great price. It's open to the public, but it seems like only employees ever bother to stop and eat there. I recommend stopping in one day for lunch, it's a steal for the quality of food you're getting.

I say we need a Calisassian meet for when SAJN comes here. We will give him proper initiation. Steven can't come.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Congrats, SAJN.

Will it consist of setting trees on fire all the while complaining about the downfall of the state?
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

Congrats to you. I wish I was that far ahead in the game. I'll be graduating in May, as well, with a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems. However, that's all I know for sure. I have no living arrangements or job lined up after I graduate.

And earthquakes.... shake-n-bake USA :eng101:
I can't wait for the day schools get the money they need, and the military has to hold bake sales to afford bombs.
