I kept Wrex alive, killed the dude instead of the chick, killed the council and got a little frisky with the blue one. :XD:

Installing ME2 now.

For those who have played alternate endings...what happens if you choose to save the council instead of focus on Sovereign? I might have to reload a save game and try it just for kicks..
woot!

The citadel explodes, and only shepard survives.

...

Ok no.

Actually it's the same, but the council lives and asks you to choose a representative to serve on the council to represent humanity instead of picking 1 leader to lead the new human-led council. Generally, people go with Captain Anderson either way, but whatever. It's essentially the same ending, and it has some minor differences in ME2. I'm playing ME 2 for a second time with the council dead (they were alive the first time I played), and I'm going to see the differences.

Yeah, I went with Anderson as well because the other guy is a *****.

I might play through ME1 again, but skip most of the side quests and just follow the main story so it doesn't take so long. :P I screwed up my game time calculator by leaving it minimized for days, but I think I had 24-26 hours by the time I finished.
woot!

I also went with Anderson.
90% of people seem to have gone with Anderson/Kill the council.

No one picked Udina because he sucks. He doesn't even make a good Renegade option.

Strange, I chose to save the council.

On my first playthrough when the game just came out I've saved the council and chose the Captain. However, when I started ME2, I no longer had my ME1 saves, and ME2 auto-assumed that I chose to let the council die and put the Ambassador in power.

I was so annoyed that I've uninstalled ME2 and am playing through ME1 again now. :)

I couldn't figure out how to get both! .( Plus Ash seems like a b**** and she kinda annoyed me.
woot!

I meant only one blue one. I don't think you can get both in ME1, but you can definitely score with more than one in ME2. I got distracted on my attempt to get all 4 in ME2. Not sure if its possible, but the logic seems there.

Anderson headbutted a turian before butting heads with alien species was cool.

That alone deserves respect.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

I saved the council.

I've played through on a dead-council save in ME2 and I have to say I liked saving the council better. There's a whole bunch of characters in ME2 who think you're the **** if you save the council, but if you kill them they hate your guts.

I liked both versions, but I loved much prefered the encounter with the surviving council than the new one in ME2. ESPECIALLY telling them what to do with the specter status, cowardly ****ers. See if I leave them alive next time.
