St. Patrick's Day!

What's everyone doing today? I know there are at least a few of you that don't have anywhere to be tomorrow.

I'm drinking some Guinness and about to head down to Sixth Street for festivities.

Today is being spent on a variety of things, but tonight will be spent drinking Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Ale and Breckenridge Oatmeal Stout. No real celebration going on here, however.

Both of these beers are magically delicious.

I work until 9PM and I do have places to be tomorrow, earlier than usual even, so yeah, no partying for me today. :( I'm not much of a drinker anyway though, so sort of a moot point for me.

I have a feeling I will no longer be welcomed in McLongname's home. <.<;

Geb, please. You don't have to drink to be welcomed here. It just helps you fit in.

I have to work tomorrow morning :(

Which is just as well, since I don't actually like beer or whiskey
Fincham: Where are you going?
Me: I have no idea
Fincham: I meant where are you sitting. This wasn't an existential question.

But are you green?
2010-03-17, 4:28 PM #16
I wore a green skirt to work today. I'm wearing green pajama pants now. That count?

I ain't doing ****. I'm tired and Phoenix PD/Arizona Highway Patrol is gonna everywhere and I don't know where the DUI checkpoints will be. Besides, I was out until 4 AM with my cousin last night.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

I'm going to Ireland in a few months so I've been drinking guiness all the time recently. Didn't stop me from having five pints of it yesterday though. Did I feel bloated...

There were about 8.7 million billion Irish people in the streets of Paris when I was there. They were there to show their support during the France versus Ireland football/soccer game. The bars were packed & they pissed all over the streets but they were all really nice for the most part.

Filled a bubba keg with a 26er of vodka and iced tea and took it with me to classes for the day. Daytime drinking on campus seemed to be pretty limited, only ran into one other group that was drinking on the roof of one of the engineering building (I guess they engineered a way up there).

Got home just after dinner time, knocked out for a while, woke up still hammered. Reloaded the bubba keg and walked around for a bit, to some nearby friends houses and so on. Finally went to a pub with the empty keg and one of the bouncers pretty much tried to "confiscate" the keg after leaving the bar. Had to wait for cops to come and get me my keg back. Pretty much a huge fail on the power trip attempt there.

The bouncer also threatened to arrest me several times, and tried to intimidate me by putting on gloves and pulling out some handcuffs. Unbelievable what some people do when they think they have authority over you.

So night time kind of sucked but doing the daily school routine buzzed and drunk was fairly enjoyable. You just get way too tired starting at 11am, at about 3pm it felt like midnight.

I was visiting a friend and her bro in Calgary all this past week, and we turned it into a St Paddy's week. I really don't want to know the state of my liver right now. On the actual day, we went to the pub at 10 in the morning for an 'Irishman breakfast' (hashbrowns with corned beef, onions, and scrambled eggs) and $3.00 Guinness pints until 11. We hung around there for a few hours, toured a bunch of various pubs and bars afterward, then ended back where we started until sometime after midnight. My memory gets pretty hazy after I started on the straight whiskey.
