I'm not talking about sex or girls or drinking or drugs. I'm talking about healthy activities that you would share with your parents (or if your parents suck, how about my parents?). For example, z@n is into cars, happydud does that thing where he jumps onto walls and playground equipment, etc. What's the thing or things you think about constantly and make serious effort on a regular basis to accomplish?
My #2 favorite thing for the past few years is wakeboarding. Not only that, I love being out on the water, swimming, diving, etc. A bunch of my endeavors relate to this -- for example, upgrading my SUV for better towing by adding new shocks, rear anti-sway bar, front anti-sway bar bushings, fixing problems with it like brakes/warning lights/etc. Also I spend quite a bit of time and money working on the boat itself. None of these involve me just taking the thing to the shop and having them do it (for two reasons: I am super particular and I want things done right, and I'd rather spend my money on something else).
My #1 involves caring for and having fun with my kids -- at least the one who enjoys doing stuff (Edward, 3 years old). Probably not a lot of stuff interesting for you guys, but exploring the woods, riding bikes, playing games, doing puzzles, going to the park, throwing rocks in the water, etc.
(By the way, wakeboarding is an activity in which exists a boat with a rope hanging off the back of it. The participant straps an apparatus similar to a skateboard or snowboard to his/her feet and holds onto said rope. The boat accelerates and pulls the participant onto the top of the water. Said participant proceeds to glide across the water using the wakes generated by the tow boat to jump and do tricks.)
