Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm trying to get rid of my computer games. A while back I posted a thread trying to sell them but I realize they're basically worthless so I'm willing to mail them out to people. Here's what I have:

Descent 2
Jetfigher 2: Advanced Tactical Fighter
Rogue Squadron 3D Antony - SHIPPED
Unreal Tournament 99 (FPS)
Operation Flashpoint Gold (FPS/Sim) tibby
Galactic Civilizations (TBS 4x)
Galactic Civilizations 2 + expansions (TBS 4x) obi kwiet- SHIPPED
JK + MOTS (FPS) Reid
JO (FPS)
JA (FPS) Drkjedi82
Command and Conquer: The First Decade (RTS) Baconfish
Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun (RTS)
Command and Conquer: Red Alert (RTS)
Command and Conquer Gold (RTS)
Command and Conquer: Renegade (FPS)
Jagged Alliance 2 + Unfinished Business (TBS)
UFO: Aftermath (TBS)
Silent Storm (TBS)
X-Wing (Space Sim) CM- SHIPPED
Tie Fighter (Space Sim) CM- SHIPPED
XvT (Space Sim) tibby
Descent: Freespace (Space Sim)
Freespace 2 (Space Sim) tibby
Starcraft + Brood War (RTS) Reid
Fallout: Tactics (RTS/TBS)
Dune 2000 (RTS)
Tachyon: The Fringe (Space Sim) Grismath
Master of Orion (4x TBS) tibby
Duke Nukem 2 (Platformer) Grismath
Loom (Adventure) Grismath
Blade Runner (Adventure) Grismath
Mechwarrior 2 + Ghost Bear + Mercenaries (Robot Sim) Zell
Star Trek: Hidden Evil (Adventure)
Star Trek: Elite Force (FPS) Outlaw Torn- SHIPPED
Starlancer (Space Sim)tibby
Sim Isle (Sim)
Sim City + Sim Farm + Sim Earth (Sim)djwguitarman
Sim City 2000 (Sim)
Outcast (Adventure)
X-Wing Collector's Edition (Space Sim) Outlaw Torn- SHIPPED
Yoda Stories (WTF) Reid
Morrowind TES Construction Set CD
Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (4x TBS)tibby

I'm willing to give them away for free and not charge shipping but I may change my mind when I discover the shipping cost (i.e. if you live in Antarctica and I'm going to have to spend $123546 on stamps). Many of these games don't have the original jewelcases because one year when I was at college my brother decided it would be a brilliant idea to throw them out and reorganize the CD filing system, so they're mostly in slimlines. However in most cases I have the manuals which I'd also like to get rid of with the games but that may cost a bit more in shipping (the Simcity/Farm/Earth manual is textbook-size).

Basically if it can fit in one of those bubblewrap CD mailers then I doubt I'm going to charge shipping.

Also, I have a bunch of manuals for games I've lost or in some cases never owned (?). So if you happen to be a PC game manual connoisseur I'll figure out what I have and you can take your pick.

Hopefully people are interested. No need to PM me, just post what you'd like here.

Man that's awesome, I'm interested in everything but specifically:
XvT
Freespace 2
Alpha Centauri
Morrowind
Master of Orion
Freespace
Flashpoint
Starlancer
Galciv 2
And all those Star Wars games. That's pretty awesome.

I don't have Morrowind, I can only find the Construction Set CD. Also bear in mind that if you want a bunch I'm not going to put them in individual envelopes, I'm just going to cram them all in a box and so you'll most likely have to pay some shipping. Though it probably won't be too bad for you Tibby since we're both Canadian. Also I know for sure I've got the FS1 and 2 manuals and the Master of Orion Manual (this is good because you need it to get past the copy protection) and I probably have the one for XvT and some of the reference cards as well.

PS did you know that if you type 'free' into the tags box it suggests 'freelance, freelancer and my mom'?

edit - har har, first bho and now this.

I really like Rogue Squadron and Operation Flashpoint. I'd take either of those off of your hands.

Rogue Squadron 3D
JK + MOTS (FPS) (my cd's are too scratched and won't install)
Starcraft + Brood War (RTS)
Yoda Stories (WTF)

thanks :)

You (Antony) can have Rogue Squadron for sure. OFP comes with the manual and the strategy guide, so I'll just wait to see if Tibby wants to pay shipping for such a big 'order'.

And obviously I'm doing this on a first-come-first-serve basis.

edit- Actually I'm going to bed now so just post what you'd like and I'll sort it out tomorrow after work.

that blows, my sister stepped on my rogue squadron cd a few months ago and cracked it :/

I might already have OFP somewhere anyway. I just hate looking for games that I haven't played in years. I can never find them in the black hole that is my cd bin.

Reid: If you want it bad, take it, man. I don't need it at all... I just thought it might be cool to play. Not a big deal at all.

Awww I loved Blade Runner. Underrated game.

I don't have the time to give it though. Babies are time consuming. <_<
2010-03-18, 6:21 AM #11
I thought Blade Runner was pretty highly rated, actually. Maybe you mean "underappreciated".

How much is shipping, and how will I pay?
I'm pretty much hosed as far as paying through internet goes, what with the whole "Not being 18" thing.
2010-03-18, 1:44 PM #17
Sadface, I really wanted Tie Fighter and X-Wing/Collectors edition. The only space sim games I've never had the chance to play.

My girlfriend paid a lot of money for that tv; I want to watch ALL OF IT. - JM

I stand corrected.

It was awesomesauce. Particularly in the way it didn't try to just replicate the film (SEE WHAT I DID THAR?), but went off in the same universe.

Chuffin' lovely.

Well, the Tie Fighter is actually on that Lucasarts collection with X-Wing. So do want two copies of X-Wing?

Sure. It comes in one of those extra-fat DVD cases, so I'll look into it.

Do you still want the X-Wing Collectors edition? It's the DOS version.

Not sure yet, and you can mail me a cheque.

You greedy basta...

Threads like this make me annoyed I live in the UK! Tracer should get something for doing this - what a guy.

Okay, so Tibby, Antony, Jim7, Outlaw, Baconfish CM and Reid, PM me your mailing addresses. I'll try to get over to the post office tomorrow. Jim/Antony/Outlaw/CM your games are all in CD mailers so I'll most likely send them as soon as I get your info. The other guys might take a bit longer as I figure out the shipping.

I've also located two more games (Jetfighter 2 and Descent 2), and if I've made a mistake and forgot anybody just speak up. Oh and Goit if you'd like something let me know. SimCity + Manual might be pushing it but I don't imagine a jewel case will be too terribly expensive.

This is awesome! I'm interested in:

Blade Runner (Adventure)
Master of Orion (4x TBS)

Loom (Adventure)
Tachyon: The Fringe (Space Sim)
Duke Nukem 2 (Platformer)

The first two are the ones I'm most interested in.

Oooo, Mechwarrior 2! I'm interested in that set there! :D
DO NOT WANT.
2010-03-19, 12:20 AM #30
If they're still available, I'd like Sim City 2000 and Operation Flashpoint. I have exactly $0.63 in my PayPal account. I can give that to you :P

2010-03-19, 1:43 PM #31
Sim City 2000 is actually the special edition that comes with the Urban Renewal Kit. I've found another copy of the Mechwarrior 2 base game, so there's another to go around.

Jim/Outlaw/Antony I've got yours packaged up. Not sure if Canada Post is open weekends, but if not I'll mail them out Monday. Everybody else I'm still working out the packaging situation (it's getting a bit more complicated than I thought).

Hey Tibby, do you mind if I nab Gal Civ 2? If that's a big one for you, then never mind.
2010-03-19, 10:28 PM #37
Maybe there is a way we can like, rock paper scissors for it. I really would like that one.
E: Or well then tracer could just make that decision...

Hey Tracer, can you cull and repost what's left? i r confuzzed by this here thread.
