Sorry, no video - I'm a bloody idiot, forgot to record on my phone vid. Anyhow, I just was walking from work and into a metro underpass, when I saw people (not a lot, mind you - only 2 or 3) standing with almost their mouths open listening to a street violinist.
This guys seemed to be in late 30's/early 40's, was wearing a suit, and playing absolutely ****ing brilliant. Only with 1 violin (which looked old and used) he reproduced Vivaldi's 4 season - the experience in the underpass was like a full orchestra was playing the songs.
It was truly insane. And the guy didn't speak Hungarian when pplz asked him something in between songs. He was German (or he spoke German, apparently, at least).
I think this guy was probably some world-renowed violinist who decided to have a recreational world tour and to play a few songs in European metros. Or maybe not, but truly, this was insane.
I pretty much had to leave only after 2 songs, but gave him all the change I had with me. I would've paid at least $50 just to go listen to him for a few hours when I wouldn't have to rush home.
Anyone else experiences anything similar?
