ahahahaha within the first 5 seconds I lost it: "Star Wars episode 2 Attack of the Clones is the worst thing ever made by a human. Except for the bagpipes."

My mom plays bagpipes and I hate them to death. :awesome:
DO NOT WANT.

"Doing things all the time gets boring ... apart from cocaine" I cringed when he said that. Maybe he's thinking that if he swears all the time and makes drug references then people will think he's cool and keep watching. Not for me thanks. How can you listen to that voice for more than an hour either.

I'm very anti-drug as well, but I know that it's sarcasm and hes poking fun at drugs, not promoting them. He has a very unique and excellent sense of humor.

I totally would live to learn how to play the bagpipes.

I'd dress up all Scottish, wear a kilt, flash people, and play bad ass bagpipe music.

Yeah I can tell that he's a very intelligent guy, and every joke he makes is meant to be taken with one or several grains of salt. Especially the whole kidnapping thing.
DO NOT WANT.

I love the part where he traps the 2 kidnapped girls in the basement with the puzzle and is like "59 MINUTES!!!!" and it cuts out.

Or where Darth Maul opens up the door and is like "Yeah...I'm a ****ing badass..oh..wait..how do you close these doors..oh there"

Sadly it appears it was taken down due to some copyright infringement with Cartoon Network. People are saying he had some clone wars clip or something in there. I hope it gets reuploaded at some point.

hooray for being incredibly uptight. I hate it when big corporations get butthurt about anyone borrowing clips from them as part of their own original project. :nonono:
DO NOT WANT.

It's one thing when someone uploads a full episode or movie, but when it's just a brief clip it's more promotion and free advertising for them so I really don't understand the concern.

He had a clip of the Clone Wars he made fun of, which is completely within fair use and I hope he fights them on it.

The Clone Wars is disgusting, George is a sell out, these reviews are worth more than the actual prequels, **** George Lucas

If i ever met the guy who recorded the voice for that I'd make him lay on his back, balance a croquet ball on his lips, and smash it with a sledgehammer.

Well it's back up and running now. One can assume he either took the clip out or just re-uploaded it anyways.

It's a character he created named Harry. S Plankett, its a joke, thats not his real voice.

I think we should kidnap Lucas and make him watch all of these. I can't wait for the last one.

I should do this for Lost...

Oh, and if jokes about cocaine actually make you cringe you're a pussy.

I'd be far more interested in him ripping apart The Original Trilogy, primarily because he uses as a point of reference so often that I'd like to see his attempt.

The only thing that bothered me was his overuse of the rape/kidnapping jokes. It was pretty amusing at first when he was subtle about it, but when he just started cutting to footage of girls in bondage and crying it started getting pretty weird and creepy.

every movie has its flaws, the point is is that George made too many careless mistakes because he didn't care, it was about money. The greatest things in Star Wars came by accident or by people who werent George Lucas, example, "I love you" - "I know", improv by Harrison Ford, defying George's wishes about the dialogue.

And on the subject of his use of rape jokes, people need to get over it, ITS FUNNY, you cant take it seriously, it has its own little story to it thats creepy and exciting, i was looking forward to how the captured hooker plot progressed at the end of each segment. These reviews are far more entertaining than the prequels will ever be.

Watch the Star Trek reviews and the Avatar one, all are fantastic

Yeah and he's in is late 20's or early 30's. You can see him interviewing someone in one of the other reviews briefly (from behind).

Yes. I know. But I'd like to see how he tackles the OT simply because he uses them as an example of good filmmaking so often. The prequels are easy pickings, this guy needs a challenge.

uhhh, you have only figured this out now?

I thought him retaining complete merchendising rights back before the first film was released would have been a big enough hint.

you can't sell out if you don't have any principles to begin with
2010-04-07, 8:39 PM #32
I'm sure he did when he made Episode 4, everything was going south yet he carried on.
Also the creation of ILM and Lucasfilm.
2010-04-07, 9:29 PM #33
His main principle when making Episode 4 was to do what he wanted and not answer to Fox. He achieved that, and now he's doing what he wants. I don't think he was ever against milking a series for all it was worth.

Today I got into an argument with a few friends, out of 5, I am the only one who thinks that the prequels were awful compared to the original, they all claimed that the prequels were "sweet with lots of good fighting and action" whereas, according to them "episode 4 was boring as hell and easy to sleep through" jesus christ, they have to be kidding
