Apologies, that was supposed to have said "The day we'll all be waiting for". I re-edited it but something screwed up and I guess when I went back it didn't change it :(

Yeah... it's good news. I hope it ends up being awesome. Though I generally wait to get excited about a movie until it actually goes into pre-production.

You can't go wrong with a movie from Nolan.
2010-05-01, 11:41 AM #8
Too bad the world will be destroyed around then. Why is he even bothering to start this thing that will never be finished?

Or maybe the movie will be too incredible for the world to handle.

This is accurate. I can't wait for people to go see Inception this summer and be all "wtf is going on?"

You are not a hollywood casting agent. Deal with it. Your ideas for who to cast are irrelevant and you shouldn't hold your breath.

I'm sure it will come out on Blu-ray and DVD by December 2012 much like The Dark Knight.

That's just what they want you to think.

Bill, he's not saying anything more than that he thinks it would be cool if Tennant played the Riddler.
2010-05-02, 7:04 AM #18
And it would be. As would NPH.
nope.
2010-05-02, 8:03 AM #19
I had to search for David Tennant and NPH. Neil Harris I know, of course, but Tennant's list of credits contains things I've never heard of and/or seen.

I remember when two years would have seemed like a long time but now it seems like time passes so fast. Hell, it seems like I just watched Iron Man in the theater and now the sequel is out this week.

I understand that. But there are a lot of people who will ***** and ***** about how so and so didn't get cast in a movie and it would have been better if they had. It is annoying and pointless.

You see people do this all the time in cases like Hitman and Spiderman 3. Who should have played Agent 47 or Venom? Trust me, the reasons those movies aren't all that great have nothing to do with the casting.

EDIT: And especially in the case of this series, when people have been dead set against the casting from minute one, yet it has always turned out to be superb. People hated Christian Bale being cast as Bruce Wayne. People hated Liam Neeson being Ra'as. People hated Heath Ledger as the Joker. People hated Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent.

And it doesn't even stop there. There were people who *****ed about Robert Downey Jr being cast as Tony Stark. Said it would never work. Even after the release of Iron Man people said they thought it was horrible casting.

So I reinforce my original statement: Anyone who wants to make open suggestions about casting a hollywood movie can blow it out their ass.

What if we casted a feature film as a casting director/assistant alongside a hollywood casting director?

David Tennant was Doctor Who. :P

I figured that out when I searched for his name. I've never seen anything that was in his list of credits.

Guess I missed that one credit the other day. Although I barely remember the movie, even though I have it. One of these days I'll rewatch them all.

I'm not a Hollywood casting director, but Shia LeBeouf should never be cast as anyone in anything.
