2010-05-14, 11:32 PM #5
uhm...

well they have a couple minutes of the tonight show on monday nights about 15-20 minutes into the show when jay does the headlines bit...

then theres americas got talent coming up next month... but they somehow managed to **** that up by replacing David Hasselhoff with Howie Mandel which makes me less excited about even watching the horrible HORRIBLE acts that show up for auditions

So basically they have no demographics covered for anything, at any time?

Anyone is surprised by Heroes? I'm surprised it took this long.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Finally, the chains of Heroes no longer bind me.

Without 24, Heroes, Lost, FlashForward or Scrubs I'm going to have more free time, let's hope they don't start any good shows in September.

About he only thing NBC has left is The Office. Everything else I watch is on FOX.

I actually dislike NBC very much, but the two shows I watch the most are actually Community and 30 Rock, oddly enough. Community, imo, is pretty much the best show on TV right now. Very very very sharp stuff

Damn it, they canceled FlashFoward, but saved V? I need to be in charge of TV from now on.

This. They lost me after season 2.

The Office is the only NBC show I watch.

Heroes & Lost were the only 2 shows left on those stations that I watch & I always stream them (I can't be bothered to schedule time for television shows). I cancelled my cable television service a few months ago because I no longer feel that there are any quality shows offered & the bill, even w/ just basic, was outrageous. The few shows that are decent are on PBS & I can get that w/ my antenna for free. I say good riddance. Maybe we'll all go outside a bit more now.
? :)

Wait, none of you watch Community? Thats the best show on NBC right now.

The Office only has one season left. (If they keep it up after Steve Carrol leaves they are massive tools.)

I used to like Chuck. I will probably watch it again on Netflix. Law and Order ceased to be interesting a long time ago. Haven't watched Heroes in a couple years. I'll Netfilx those as well. Don't watch any sitcoms. TV shows I have been watching are/were 24, American Idol (kind of), Justified, V, Grey's Anatomy (kind of), Caprica, and maybe a few others here or there. 24, Justified, and V are the ones I don't miss right now (although Caprica was in that category).

A buddy of mine was telling me something similar.

I just simply can't squeeze in any more tv shows into my week right now.

you should catch up on heroes... the last season the show was starting to get back on track without the godawful retarded story arcs that go nowhere of seasons 2 and 3

nbc killed a show that was on it's way out of the toilet

I've never seen it myself. I thought there were a lot of folks here that watched it for some reason.

the office is the only show i watch, and its depressing since season 6 has seemed really bad in comparison :(

I liked that last season of Heroes. Maybe SyFy will get a shot at picking up the series.

SyFy is the worst channel ever, it slowly gets worse and worse. They lost the rights to air Who, they have wrestling etc.

Guess I just like cheezy SciFi, but IMHO enjoy watching too many of their shows to rate it - 'the worst channel ever'.

SciFi.

SCIFI.

NOT SYFY.

I don't care if it's official.
It's not syance fyction.

Yeah but Caprica is SciFi right?
So that's an instant ten points.

ooooo that reminds me, I never watched the finale.

I gotta do that...

It ends on a cliffhanger, that gets concluded IN SEPTEMEBER!

SyFy is like every other network that ends up abandoning it's core viewers in the hopes of attracting more viewers. Like TNN, G4/Tech TV, etc.

I don't understand what people liked about season 4 of Heroes. I thought it was just as bad as the previous two seasons. (Somehow I found time to watch all of it nevertheless.)
2010-05-15, 6:29 PM #36
It was better in the sense that it had a cohesive overall story and a cohesive villain with a goal--not a ton of shifting changing storylines. It was still very drawn out and not the best storytelling/season, but it was half-decent, and very much better than season 3, which had so many plot twists and storylines that it didn't know what to do with itself.

NBC's entire Thursday comedy lineup is pretty good, though The Office is the only one of those shows I watch regularly.

The Office this week had several LOL moments. Like Angela's repayment in lieu of the $30,000... Angela and Dwight with Pam and Jim overhead... "If I had two bullets and I was in a room with Hitler, Bin Laden, and Toby, I'd shoot Toby twice." :XD:

The office has lost alot of it's steam IMO.

Community is hilarious, and then I go to the bathroom during parks and rec, and then The Office is rofl, and then 30 Rock which is the third funniest show ever.
