I'm no fan of Slipknot, but it's a shame the dude is dead.

You know, I never understood that when you had Slipknot around, why anyone would choose to listen to Limp Bizkit or Linkin Park instead. Just seems like if you were into the whole Numetal/metal thing, you'd take Slipknot easily. But different strokes for different folks. I'm not the biggest slipknot fan, but I do enjoy their music every once and a while, and they were ****ing METAL. The bassist was pretty decent, so RIP

I hate numetal but I don't doubt they were talented in their own ways or decent people.

Sad to hear indeed. Slipknot's one of those bands that has put out consistently good music their entire career.

Slipknot is extremely awesome. I don't like most of their music but I LOVE some of it. This is unfortunate.

That's too bad. I don't enjoy hearing about anyone who tried to give something to the world dying... Whether it's an academic or an artist... Sucks.

I used to be all "oh you don't care when some random guy dies" etc... Then I grew up and realized these aren't random people. They're individuals who made people's lives different in one way or another. Mostly for the better. So I really hate to see anyone die, honestly...
