That slideshow disappointed me. Half of them are clearly just spheres and otherwise look nothing like the Death Star...

For the first one, Fritz Koenig made that before Star Wars, so I don't know how you can say it's in reference to the Death Star, but far be it from Fox News to check anything before saying it. Also, the Epcot Center was designed before 1977, so yeah...

Other than that it's round food items made to look like the Death Star, and spherical structures to which they attribute influence.

Actually, the slideshow doesn't make any reference to that structure being inspired by the Death Star. Just that there is a resemblance.

Hrm, I was invited to a Force Awakens viewing party and there were Star Wars themed cupcakes. If you zoom in you can see the Death Star ones.

What reminded me of this thread was that we had a bake sale and I made a modified version (had Special K on hand) of the recipe below. I decided to order the two books I don't have today. I guess we're doing it again next week. Perhaps the Chewbacca or Droids activity book will have an interesting recipe. Oh, the cookies were a huge hit.
