Antony quits smoking.

Day one is complete... it's been over 28 hours since I smoked. No patch. No gum.

My head hurts... I'm shaking... I'm sick to my stomach... It sucks.

Hey I stuck with that for a while... I started to occasionally drink about 6 months ago... It hasn't been a problem at all.

ive tried a few times using gum and inhalors, but it never lasts.

Essentially i'm just weak.

I do recommend the patches/gum/inhalor as they will cut the cold turkey effect considerably.
Code:
if(getThingFlags(source) & 0x8){
  do her}
elseif(getThingFlags(source) & 0x4){
  do other babe}
else{
  do a dude}

Good luck, Antony. You're doing a good thing!

My wife & I both quit in December (cold turkey). The chemical dependency is the easiest part to get through (that's over in about 1-2 weeks). It's the psychological aspect that'll **** you (e.g: watching someone else smoke when you're stressed). The most difficult times for me were after a nice meal or while out at the bar w/ friends. I suppose that it would be helpful to avoid any environments or people (w/in reason) that make you want to smoke. Good luck.

Yeah, my grandpa quit over 15 years ago and he still has the occasional urge, just from the psychological effect.
