A really fun, action movie. I've never seen the original TV series so I don't know how faithful this reboot is (hardly anyone dies in the movie just to note), but I find it a fun movie nonetheless. Granted some people might find the movie too ridiculous and over the top (like Ebert did who hated the perfectly executed plans and absurd physics), but I think it adds to its appeal. Unfortunately, the shaky cam is used a bit too much in some of the action scenes otherwise I would enjoy them a bit more.

They have plenty of the original fanfare right?

I'm just afraid my Mr. T lunchbox is going to find it's way out of my father's garage and throw me hella far for even thinking about it.

It's pretty awesome. Not really as much in common with the original A-Team as I would have liked, but as a modern adaptation it works well in its own right. Sharlto Copley steals the show as Murdoch.

And yeah, it's not true that hardly anyone dies. Quite a few people die.

How shaky is the shaky cams?

Not sure if it's out here yet, been seeing a stupid orange advert for it for ages which just makes it look rubbish!

Yes, it did play a few times.

Maybe I'm desensitized, but I don't think the body count was that high. Most of the time, it seems like the adversaries were merely knocked out through melee attacks.

I wouldn't say the shaky cam was atrocious (nothing compared to Cloverfield or the Paul Greengrass movies), but it is evident in some action sequences. Oh and I also agree that Sharlto was the best in the movie. His southern accent is very natural and I suspect that most people would know he was South African unless they recognize him from District 9.
