Lakers are 34-7 at home, and they're basically the only sports game in town. They'll win on tuesday, however, I'm not sure about game 7. The Celtics have not been firing on all cylinders, they've been inconsistant, and I'm not sure the way they've been playing will be enough to bea the Lakers in game 7, especially in LA.

I read an article that Phil Jackson has never played a game 7. Very interesting fact as I never realized that.

My prediction for Thursday night:

Kobe breaks Wilt's record and drops 103, scoring all of LA's points in a losing effort as Rondo has a triple double of 14-12-20, Pierce goes 18-for-21, including 13-for-13 from the charity stripe, for 54 points. Ray Allen chips in for 36, breaking his own record, by going 12-for-12 from behind the arc. Garnet is solid with a double-double of 16 points, 10 rebounds.

Celtics win in overtime.

NBA Champions.

Paul Pierce with 54 points. Now I know you're on something.

With Kendrick Perkins out for game 7, Kobe goes 29-15-8, Pau Gasol goes 18-16-5. DFish has a phenominal night from downtown and goes 5 for 8. Shannon Brown shows those mad dunk skills over the heads of Rasheed and Rondo.

Lakers by 10

That would be the best championship game ever. Although, I think you missed Perkins rising from out of the locker room from injury to score the first 4 points of the game ala' Willis Reed

This is going to be a really good, really close game.

I'm rooting for the Lakers, but, truth be told, I've only seen 3 or 4 games all season. I'm not as big a fan as I used to be.
2010-06-17, 7:29 PM #26
This is the first basketball game I've watched this season.
2010-06-17, 7:37 PM #27
I think the Boston lead at this point is as much due to the Lakers playing like **** as it is Boston being the ****.
2010-06-17, 8:11 PM #28
Both teams are playing like **** ... this is such a ridiculously low-scoring game and not by virtue of good defense

Lakers still gon rock it tho

Welp! Don't think there's any recovery for Boston @ this point.
2010-06-17, 8:49 PM #35
Not without Reggie Miller.

[Wow, a 3 from Rondo... just got interesting again!]
2010-06-17, 8:53 PM #36

11.7 seconds left it's not over yet but celtics are outta time-outs now ... this game is ending exactly how i like it (close and exciting but lakers win :P)
