I feel like the NINTENDO SIXTY FOUURRRRR Kid here...

Could there be a more perfect teaser? I know there's pre-alpha gameplay vids about... but I like this the best. Really felt like old TM videos.

Thoughts?

I've had some of my most memorable DM moments in this game. It's like an FPS but faster and instead of aiming and shooting you also have to drive. Honestly though, the alpha looks a little shoddy.

Well it wouldn't be the first game to look bad before release. They have about a year to work on it still. Lots can be done in a year, plus, some of the original guys are working on it. That alone is a plus.

Twisted Metal is the one game I'm looking forward to as far as PS3 is concerned.

Wow, talk about blast from the past. I had forgotten about this brilliant franchise. <3 Twisted Metal. Had many, many, many great moments with these games in my youth.

You'd prefer Xbox? Why?

Maybe he doesn't have a PS3.

Personally, I have both consoles but I'll generally always get the X-Box 360 version of a game unless there's a really compelling reason to get the PS3 version (eg FFXIII, which probably doesn't count because it's the worst game ever). The X-Box 360 just provides a much better multiplayer/social experience.

Well, it should since you have to pay for it. Free is always better IMO.

Not IMO. PSN is terribad compared to XBL. I'd rather pay the piddly amount of money it costs than deal.

Also, I <3 X-Box because of XBLA, zune streaming music via network, and the best Netflix player.

You can stream music and videos to a PS3, but not from a portable media player I don't think.

I played a version of twisted metal on psp. It sucked balls. I haven't seen a game like this worth a damn since Carmageddon 2.

You cannot stream Zune music which is why I specifically said Zune. Also, I don't recall if it works ingame, but it might?

Never throw anything PS3 related at Cool Matty's way as he hates it with a passion. Kevin Butler killed his dog with a PlayStation Move wand and the power of the PS3 blew up his home, killing all of his family members.

I can't speak for the psp version, but I have always loved Twisted Metal, much more then Carmageddon.

PSP would be a horrible platform for Twisted Metal. It was all about the multiplayer.

Last time I knew, it was not possible to play music in game on the PS3

So long as the game has a seperate music control function that's not normally an issue.
Games like GTA where you have your own music in the radio is when having your own stuff shines.
