Kopp's is one of the best ice cream/custard places on Earth, period. I go there every couple days.

Other than that, meh. Biden has always been a dumbass whose IQ rivals that of Bush. I don't care if he was joking or not, it takes the tiniest amount of common sense to realize that because you are VP, that everything you say will be monitored and scrutinized. It's best just to avoid "jokes" like that because more often than not calling a regular guy a smartass just because he wants lower taxes will be considered an insult. Also, knowing the owners of Kopps, I'm pretty sure he was serious about his request to lower taxes :)

I probably drop a few F bombs here and there everyday, but if I held a high position in a political party, I would watch my P's and Q's and choose my words wisely if I wanted respect in return from the general public. I think joe needs to take up yoga so that will enable him to stick his foot into his big mouth.

This makes me respect him a little bit more. He's not a sanitized, pussified public figure entirely yet.

So you respect Cheney then? :p seriously though Biden is usually good for a laugh.

I think the media makes more of a deal out of it than the general public. Most people don't care.

Yeah the drive-by media does make a big deal out of it, especially Foxnews, but I think its entertaining to see the VP make an ass out of himself. I personally could care less for him and the last one before him.

I think it's the other way around. It should be embarrassing for anyone who cares what kind of language the VP uses. Because, you know, it doesn't matter.

I'm surprised Biden didn't tell him to blow it out his ass. Calling someone a smartass is pretty civil for Joe Biden.

Also why is this "news" anyway? As far as I can tell the man barely even has a job unless something happens to Obama or he has to cast some vote?
nope.

...because using curse words is serious business! I have a video of me saying "****" when I was 3. I can never run for office now because if people were to find out that I used curse words the world would come to an end.
? :)

I know damn well I could never run for office or at least if I was elected some how, there would be a some good material for the media. I did inhale MaryJane and more than once.

I inhaled frequently. That was the point.

I personally appreciated Obama's candor when answering that question. You know all the other candidates that said, "I tried it but I didn't inhale" are full of ****. It's a kid saying to his parents, "yeah I tried that vodka but I spit it out!" Uh huh.

It's all a distraction, the media just posts whatever they want to distract us from real issues. Obviously cussing is not an issue with the majority of us.. You think the media would favor the majority but obviously they have another agenda. And it's not just foxnews or this issue.

What do you think is the media's motivation to "distract" us from real issues??
2010-06-28, 9:10 AM #28
There is no evil agenda to distract us from real world issues. Real issues are covered all the time, just in whatever way generates the most revenue.

Exactly it just comes down the the $$, I wasn't trying to sound like a conspiracy theorist or something. But really why does the media feel the need to report every little stupid thing and blow it out of proportion.

As a Wisconsinite, I realized you spelled Milwaukee wrong.

Darth Dan, go back to school so you can learn some basic spelling and grammar. In fact, come to Wisconsin, since our schools are some of the best in the country.

The fact that you spelled it wrong makes you a bad person and no amount of our state's fine cheese will sooth your wounds. Also, **** California. Your cheese is not better than ours.

Also, **** Minnesota. Land of 10,000 lakes? Wisconsin has 13,000. Suck it!

I actually buy it in the case of Bill Clinton. Christopher Hitchens, who actually knew Bill Clinton back then, says that he didn't & I think he's probably telling the truth. He's obvious not a fan of the Clintons & would probably call him out on it if it were a lie.

Only in your state I might be a bad person, but what do you expect with a State that has alot of weird Ass names. I heard that California has better cheese because it comes from happy cows. And the reason why their happy because they graze on wonderful green cannabis.:D

edit: Dont worry Utah has names that are far more weird.
