NASA has just released a video game called Moonbase Alpha. It's available on Steam among other places.

I thought they had budget problems, where did the money to make this come from?

Just finished downloading, I'll probably try it after the Engineer Update hubbub dies down next week or so.

I downloaded it, got as far as the menu before I figured out the gold wrench giveaway was going on.... I crafted my ass off yesterday, got nothing... naturally.

You never know. They may have gotten a grant to make the game, and nothing else.

The game is pretty short. You can beat it in about 15 minutes. I'd like to try it next with about 4 people.
