San Diego received a little shake

I bet Steven probably felt the 5.9 on the richter scale which was north of San Diego, which is a baby compared to the San Fernando shaker in 1993.

Sran and 'dalf live closer to the epicenter than I do, but I felt a little bumping.

It was a wee baby earthquake.

When i lived In West Covina around 1990-92 we had about the same magnitude or more. It was scary and fun all together.

Everyone in the office started flipping out "Earthquake! Oh no! It's a big one! Ahhhhh!" My boss and I were sitting not 10 feet away from them doing work on our laptops and we didn't feel a single thing. LAME.
Think while it's still legal.

Making cities likes Phoenix, Arizona and municipalities near a fault line is the smartest thing we have ever done. Ever.

Phoenix is on a fault line?

P.S. Making cities on the gulf coast was also stupid, and cities near rivers, and cities in tornado alley, and cities near volcanoes, cities in deserts, etc. ;)

Did I say Phoenix was on a fault line?

And yes, I quite agree with you :)

We had a 5.7 earthquake out here a few weeks ago. I didn't feel a damn thing, but my office is about 15-20 feet from a busy highway, so trucks passing probably cause the same sensation, so I didn't pay attention to it. Otherwise I was probably walking or driving somewhere when it hit.

doubtful. small earthquakes like that are normal. Happen all the time. It's when they *don't* happen that you have to be worried about a big one.
