I walked outside my friend house one night at 3am and we saw 2 criminals actually inside my car (at the time it was a 760 volvo wagon baby). We both dashed straight for them and they took off. We chased them for atleast a quarter mile but, drinking that night didn't help at all and they got away.

Called the cops to report and tell them were they went. So waiting outside, we see a police man driving down the road.. so waiting for him to pull up to take my report-- oh wait, he doesn't stop, he just keeps driving. They never called me or came back to his house to take my report.

I've had a car stolen and broken into a few times, nothing ever gets done about it so take it from me and play it like a thug.

I'm not down enough w/ modern lingo so I don't understand the question or the answers. I did a few Google searches & still can't figure it out. Just put me down w/ what everyone else goes w/.

There's a lot more to this dilemma than ethics, and there needs to be a lot more information.
Is the punk (to 'my' knowledge) armed? Am I armed?
Would I be able to beat him up no worries or would it be a tough fight? Is anyone nearby?
Is it dark or is it light?
I'm not answering this joke poll until I am fully informed =p

He's trying to get you. Of course he's armed. Generally speaking, getting someone for their possessions requires some form of weaponry.

I could only go by the translation "trying to steal your car" so I wasn't sure if that meant he was directly telling me to get out of the car or whatever.
Still isn't enough info, what's he armed with? A pointy stick? A knife? A gun? A finger in his pocket?
