When I first looked at loki, I thought someone had photoshopped kroko into the picture >.<

Well... in the Marvel universe, the Nordic gods are supposed to be aliens, so I guess that's why they went for a clean, shiny, futuristic look rather than something a bit more gritty/barbaric.

Disregarding that bit of obviousness, in the Marvel universe there's at least one iteration of Thor where he gets his power from the hammer, similar to how the Green Lantern gets his power from the ring. Anyone can be Thor, just by picking up Mjolnir.

If Odin is a space God why did they design him to have an eyepatch? Cant he just grow another eye or is the patch for fashion?
