So I'm not sure if any of you have heard of it but I just finished the first book of the Night Angel trilogy by Brent Weeks...

I must say, at least for the first half of the book I was not i was not impressed. I could say the same for about a hundred pages in the middle of the climax. However, like any series that I start, I know I'm going to read the others just to see where the story goes. It has to be really f**king bad for me to just stop reading/watching/caring about a series I start. Unforutnately though I somehow got a little bit of the end of the series spoiled for me :argh:. I would write about it but I don't know how to do the spoiler/rollover text in a post. Although, I'm still going to read it all despite having a key interest in the series ruined for me.

So now the three points of the thread:

1. Any of you people read the series? Please, thoughts & opinions (without spoilers)
2. Any of you hate even the smallest bit of a spoiler as much as I do?
3. How do you handle taking on a series (books, movies, tv series, etc)? Can you stop whenever or must you finish, as is my problem?

i've never read the series, I'm more of a whore for Star Wars, when it comes to book series.

I've started in the middle, gone backwards through, read correctly, one at a time, multiple series at once, name it i've gone through a series in that manner.

The only time I get pissed off is when a writer leaves the series right at the end book to never write it (like Karen Traviss with the Imperial Commando II book because LA pissed her off by screwing with Mandos) or when they allow a good series to get written by good authors and then a good author writes a **** end book. Thats my gripe with LucasArts, Sue Rostini, quit ****ing with the canon you had built and allowed to be built up.
