TV series - Netflix streaming. What should I watch?
2010-07-16, 12:04 PM #1
I just started Dr. Who...

I have seen-
Leverage (season 1)
Firefly
Stargate SG1/Atlantis
A few seasons of Heroes
Terminator SCC
Dollhouse
Castle
Chuck
Arrested Development
How I Met Your Mother (making progress; roommate has them on disc)

I like Scrubs too..it's not streaming, though. I'm not overly fussy, but if there are any good series streaming from Netflix, recommend something! I've caught bits and pieces of Lost and it didn't interest me too much, but I'm game for almost anything.
woot!

That's Spartacus Blood and Sand
I enjoyed Jeremiah seasons 1&2 a lot (same dude who made babylon 5)
Rescue Me was pretty cool
I liked both seasons of Leverage also

That's Spartacus: Blood and Sand in case you're still confused :P

Rescue Me sounds like a good choice. I've been thinking about watching that next.

do it! its really a great show. sadly, the sites that i watch my shows online were all seized by the government recently, so now i have to wait an other week or 2 until i get to start watching the new season which has already been out for 2 or 3 weeks.

  • 30 Days
  • Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations
  • Californication
  • Heroes
  • Lost
  • X-Files

P.S. Battlestar Galactica is great but it's not available for streaming via Netflix. You should also do some streaming via Hulu if you aren't already. I recommend "Castle" (it's like "Law & Order" w/ humor & it has the guy from Firefly/Serenity) & "Vanguard".
? :)

Don't listen to Rob if you want to know what is good. Dexter is excellent.

I just started watching Better Off Ted last night and it's pretty good so far. (It was recommended based on my interest in 30 Rock and Arrested Development - it seems similar to them so far)

Too bad it got cancelled after the second season. Great show.
My girlfriend paid a lot of money for that tv; I want to watch ALL OF IT. - JM

They recently put up all the seasons of Buffy and Angel on there if you're a super hardcore Whedon nerd (dunno if you are or not, just noticed Firefly and Dollhouse on your list).

All of Lost is up on instant watch right now too. I'm not interested, but my roommate watches it.

Pushing Daisies is so good, so lovely.

I started watching it a few days ago. Only 4 episodes in. I like it so far, but am sad that it's so brief and will probably have no real "closure" because of its cancellation.

And by lovely, I can only assume you are referring to Kristin Chenoweth's lovelies.

ps I love Pushing Daisies and hate that it was canceled.

I'm referring to Chenoweth, Friel, the sets, the costumes, the art direction, whatever.
