My body guy is making some progress on the color change/etc and is making interesting discoveries along the way. This is what my poor car has had before I owned her:

Front bumper cover- replaced
Hood- replaced
Left front fender- replaced
Right front fender- replaced
Driver's door- hit (getting reskinned now)
Left rear quarter panel- fixed/painted
Rear bumper cover- replaced
Rear bumper brace- gone
Trunk- crunched

The only original paint on it is the passenger quarter panel and the roof.

Before I got my car painted I took a piece of sandpaper to the finish and found this.

You never know what they went through before you got them, and you usually don't want to know. Just need to evaluate it for what it is, and work accordingly.

Not to mention the engine, transmission, rear crossmember, brakes, and likely suspension are from a JDM clip...

So it has front end and rear end damage? Sounds like somebody rear ended them while stopped in traffic.
