Recommend me a good BLUETOOTH mouse/keyboard!

Using it for various things (like my phone, lawl).

It MUST be bluetooth, not USB dongle or similar.

I'd prefer something portable, but I hate those super-mini mice that your hand smothers. A thin chicklet keyboard would be awesome, with a basic accurate mouse.

Rechargable is a bonus, but not required. Thanks!

This is what I have. I've been pretty satisfied with it.

(The mouse is rechargeable, and has 2 side buttons, and a side scrollwheel.)

Keyboard has a built in calculator (much easier than opening the windows calculator, operates from the digital display). Also has media buttons, and displays media info, as well as a few other extras. Action on the keyboard is pretty smooth, and relatively comfortable (for newer keyboards. :o)

(also, it comes with a bluetooth dongle so you don't need to buy one if you don't have bluetooth already. The dongle will work with keyboard and mouse as well as other bluetooth devices. You can also use built in bluetooth of course..)
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Looks awesome, but that's a bit pricey. I don't need a replacement for what I currently have (that is, tons of features), I just want something portable.

I got a microsoft bluetooth mouse for my laptop and it annoyed me so much I am back to a wired mouse. It ran out of batteries all the time and that was annoying. It seems like when I booted my computer (on the ferry, twice a day) it would take quite a while for it to sync up and actually work. Never used a bluetooth keyboard. The ps3 remote is bluetooth and it rules.

I've seen those roll up keyboards, not sure if they are BT, or how good they are.

If you want good input devices, goto Logitech for sure.

I guess I'll avoid that mouse. I do need bluetooth though, because a couple of the devices I'm going to use it with ONLY are capable of that. No wired, no USB, etc.

I've already perused Logitech after the first recommendation. Sadly, their bluetooth selection is extremely limited. Besides that one revolution kit, they only have a couple other choices, most of which are those diNovo devices.

I got this Bluetooth mouse from NewEgg, and it's fantastic:

The small form factor isn't as bad as you think. I don't know about how you hold a mouse, but I usually hold it between the tips of my fingers, my palm rarely rests on the mouse. This is one of the best small mice I've ever used... it's small enough to be portable but comfortable enough to use for many hours at a time. I like that it has a full five buttons. The scroll wheel is of great quality and, unlike many cheap mice, actually performs at the DPI it claims, and it will not cause cursor "judder" if you move it too quickly. It's also really well built. Very surprising for the price.

As you can see it's not on Newegg right now but you should be able to find it on Amazon or somewhere else.

hmm that mouse looks tempting. I need to replace my PoS hp wireless mouse for my laptop... Does it track well on various surfaces? (like leather, cloth, wood, carpet (more or less).

I don't see why it wouldn't. I think it probably tracks better than my MX Revolution.

This is the one I got but don't use anymore: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826105085&Tpk=microsoft%20bluetooth%20mouse

It's not even that it ran out all the time... it ran out enough that it was annoying, mainly every couple of weeks.

Oh, and the battery lasted months for me with pretty frequent use (average a few hours a day?)
