I can understand where a lot of the younger members never got into SC1. That was released 12 years ago. Especially with RTSs and FPSs (like DF), when you get used to a modern control scheme, older RTSs feel virtually unplayable. C&C always felt a little ahead of its time in that regard but, with regard to Blizzard RTSs, SC1 seems like the lowest (oldest) game that is still easily playable. One of these days I'm going to start the whole thing over again and finally finish the expansion.
Diablo 3, as referenced above, is coming soon. It takes me forever to get into a Diablo game but once I do, I'm hooked. One of these days I might actually get past the opening level of Diablo 2.
SC2 should be great. Maybe I will build a computer just to be able to play it. It is tempting to wait for an all in one version, though. That's what I've done with all the Blizzard titles except Diablo and WCIII. Waited for the Battle Chest.
