<~genk> got done with work
<~genk> went for a motorcycle ride for breakfast
<~genk> engine died on the way back
<~genk> walked about 2.5 miles to get back
<~genk> got it started twice and rode it about 3 miles total

i think i blew a cylinder.

mcdonalds pancakes were totally worth it

Is it making a noise? What's it doing? I agree with Z@N, a blown cylinder isn't likely.

Think Ockham's Razor. Think less complex before you start thinking more complex.

Remember the basics: air, fuel, spark.

smoking, loss of power, loud ticking, it will die and take 20 minutes or so before i can start it again - seems to be seized for a little while and then starts once its cooled a bit

i actually i don't if its a cylinder or not because i'm going off what my dad said when i told him what happened

the best i've gotten it to go is 25-30mph when i limped it home, needs to stay in a lower gear to keep running

I think Rob offered good advice in the other thread; check your cam chain and timing.

If you're lucky, it might just be a loose nut on your valve adjuster. That happened to my brother a few months ago. Easy peasy.

no idea, but i just handed it off to my dad and involuntarily moved up to a 500.
