I had to post something about this because I have been waiting for it for years. Being a huge fan of the first game. Anyone else pick this up?

Anyway, so far I'm in love with it, they took everything Mafia 1 had and made it better. The story is playing out pretty good, I love a good organized crime story. That's what really drew me into Mafia. This game picks up almost right where Mafia left off, except you play as different characters, and different families.

Compared to GTA IV the map size is very small (Maybe even smaller than Mafia), at first I thought that this would be a problem but actually I like the fact that it's small because it seems you don't have to drive around for hours on end to get to your location. I'm glad they kept the simulation driving, speed limits and traffic violations. But overall it's a beautiful game, it even runs pretty good on my PC setup which is a bit outdated.

Been eyeballing this one as well as la noire which also looks promising. I think ill pick it up, the first was good if not difficult at times.

It looks interesting for sure, but I think I'll wait til it drops to $20-ish

I tried the DEMO, and I have to admit I really liked it. Reminded me alot of GTA:Vice City but with the obvious timeperiod difference. But I'm cheap so I'll wait for it to go on sale.

I never finished the first one due to the bug where you couldnt complete the mission where you're at the airport going to whack a guy...

but i made it all the way to that point twice, i liked the game so much!

I never experience that bug ford, that's too bad that's when the game gets good

It does sound cool, but I haven't seen anything that blows me away enough to warrant the price.
