Star Wars question (rarity around here?)
2010-08-27, 12:14 PM #1
I'm trying to remember what the name of a certain droid is. It's that little shoebox sized droid that zooms around on the floor, typically at imperial bases. They were in JK, and you could control one in Jedi Outcast. They make that funny noise as they scoot around on wheels.

HELP!

(I even scanned some Wiki dedicated to SW droids, and didn't see it.)

I'm really bad about names, with anything. I always catch a lot of flak from my hipster friends for not knowing any celebrity names, even if I know who they are.

Speaking of which, what was that droid that had a light bulb thing on it that was roaming around when Luke scanned the horizon (in ep. 4)?

I think you're talking about Treadwell. Google "treadwell star wars" and you'll find some video on youtube.

Snowtroopers were armed with the standard issued E-11 blaster rifles of stormtroopers,[1] SE-14R light repeating blasters, two concussion grenades,[1] and one frag grenade. Elite snowtroopers were given the DLT-20A blaster rifle as a replacement for the E-11,[3] and two stun grenades. Snowtroopers commonly employed E-web heavy repeating blasters.[2]

No, I know. When I first saw it I was thinking about the dome part. I figured he meant the deleted scene where he was looking in the sky. I was too lazy to look in the actual movie to the part where he was looking for Artoo.

During video shoots we would routinely quote parts from movies we knew any time we botched a scene as actors. My friend Greg loved to ad lib Star Wars scenes. During one video shoot, though, we had a guy working with us as an actor and he was not aware of this little tradition of ours.

Greg: But I was gonna go to the Toshi station to pick up some power converters!
New guy: You can do that faggy **** when your chores are done. Now shut up and get me a beer, you spoiled brat.

He was fun.

Another trivia q: which words, in Mandalorian, went through Greedo's mind right before, and at that brief moment after he had shot first?

Firstly, that's English, not Mandalorian.

Secondly, the Han shooting first claim as depicted in the first version of the film was a fabrication of what really happened in that cantina on that day. Fortunately, Lucas was wise enough to amend that scene in order to more accurately portray the reality of it, possibly out of pressure from descendants of those of Mr. Solo's relatives who chose to stay here on earth back when humans branched out, should such individuals still exist in our day.

(The branching out theory is my own, but I base it on perceivably identical evolutionary qualities and the use of the English language in that galaxy.)

Greedo wouldn't know Mando'a

Greedo would know Rodese or Huttese as his mental language.
