School is starting!

I figured that since a lot of us might be starting classes either this week or the next, or already HAVE started classes, a thread like this is appropriate. So, post your schedule for this upcoming semester!

Econ 450 - Wages and the Labor Market
Econ 410 - Econometrics
Econ 522 - Law and Economics
Math 234 - Calc 3 (vectors, etc)
Math 421 - Theory of Single Variable Calculus (proof writing)

Looking forward to classes? Gonna be a tough semester? Gonna be super easy? Share your thoughts!

-disorders of mental health, nervous system and eyes***
-musculoskeletal disorders
-clinical genetics, obstetrics, pediatrics
-geriatrics
-clinical and communicative skills
-problems of medical practice (case studies)
-internships

***this one is important if I want to get matched for my preferred specialty later on. I don't want to play the disgusting but traditional professor asskissing game - we'll see how it goes.

This quarter I'm on co-op at MITRE. I only have 16 credits left, 8 of which are a two-quarter SE senior project. The other 8 are a course in human factors and whatever psychology course I decide to take for my liberal arts concentration. I might need to take 4 more credits each quarter to get enough financial aid, I'm not sure yet. If so, I'll fill it with easy 2 credit courses. Maybe I'll take an extra psych class and get a minor, we'll see. Senior project is huge but should be fun.

All while trying to start my own company. ffffffffffffffff

What school do you go to Pom? I ask because at the CSU school I attended, we had the exact same course names/numbers.

University of Pennsylvania

I think we might use a fairly standard course code system?

Structural Designs for Fire and Life Safety
Hazardous Materials Incident Management
Industrial Loss Prevention
Fire Dynamics
American Foreign Policy

Why the last one? I declared a minor in Emergency Management and the path I'm forced to take by scheduling limitations is the politics direction rather than the more applicable local government direction. That is okay with me, though, because I am much more interested in learning about terrorism, war and world politics, and foreign policy than local government, even if local government is where I'll likely end up. :) Welcome to college: it's stupid.

Just submitted my applications to all the neurosurgery programs in the US.

We'll see what pans out, it's such a competitive damned specialty.

If you're truly in love with the brain and/or spine, and if you'd consider living abroad for 6-7 years to pursue that love, there are options for you should you not match...

Anyway - All the best with matching!
