I like the style, as a 3D interpretation of an 8-bit side-scroller. I'd love to see something similar done with Mario.

But would you like the style after, let's say, 3 hours of play?

While cool, I don't think I could handle looking at all those 8-bit colors and textures for a long period. My eyes would melt.
