I just caught and ate clams out of the ocean. They weren't bad... but pretty sandy. Hopefully I don't get PSP.
It was really crazy how I found them. I was just randomly walking in the ocean, and I began to notice how the waves would cause the sand to erode under my feet. It felt kinda cool so I stopped walking and stood there for a minute. As the sand was being taken away from under me, I adjusted my feet and noticed there was something hard under my foot. Expecting a rock, I reached into the water and pulled out a fairly large clam. I was pretty shocked that I just happened to be standing right on it.
So I took it back to my sister and my wife and showed them. My sister said "Can I take home the shell?" I told her I didn't want to give it to her cause I wanted to keep it for myself, but jokingly told her that I would go get her one too. I told her "It's my lucky day. I'll just walk in the ocean until I feel like I'm in the right spot, then I'll stop and wait for the sand to erode under me, and we'll see if my luck still holds."
Not expecting to find anything, I went back out into the ocean and walked for a few minutes. Finally I decided I was in a good spot so I stopped, and sure enough, I got another one. I was pretty surprised. It was the first place I stopped.
Over the next 30 minutes or so, I found 2 more. Took them home and boiled them up. They were pretty tasty.

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
