Seems useful, not just for military use, but for civilian use to if the suit really does deliver.

Video and a press release after the break don't specify the suit's military duties (they're focused on instilling the notion that the XOS 2 is a real-life Iron Man) but we can definitely imagine these causing some serious damage if Hammer Industries decided to weaponize that high-pressure hydraulic frame.

Anyway that looks neat. I want one!

Also very useful for battling alien queens.

How small is the smallest nuclear reactor right now? How small would it have to be to power something like this?

Uhh, it's freaking gigantic, and you can't just make it smaller, either.

Get out of here STALKER.
Also, as far as my knowledge of nuclear power goes, it needs to be pretty ****ing huge to actually generate any power. and have a boatload of concrete around it to keep the rads in.

Also it can still be useful when tethered. I'm imagining jobs that involve extreme heavy lifting but within a reasonably small area.

What about the ones on nuclear subs?

Those are freaking huge.
Even "Micro Reactors" have entire buildings housing them.

Let's put it this way: if nuclear reactors were small enough that a person could carry them on their back, there would be no energy crisis.

Well, there are those nuclear batteries that get power from decay...but I don't think they put out enough.
