Yes, considering it's probably about the third most popular videogame franchise ever, I'd say it's safe to assume it still has a player base, considering the best game in the series recently came out and sold a assload of copies.

Halo is 10 years old.

There are new little kids with every game release, thus, lots of fans, including all the new little kids who just got into it because of Reach.

Yes, people still play Halo.

Halo: Combat Evolved? Not so much.

I'm hoping that the Legendary Edition of the Reach was as widely over produced as the Legendary Edition of 3. They got stupid cheap after the game had been out for awhile. I can't fathom purchasing the game now as I have yet to really start ODST or Wars.

As long as Xbox is being made, Halo will be played.

Nintendo = Super Mario
Xbox = Halo

And no, I'm not comparing Halo as a game to super mario as a game, stop while your ahead.

I'm more interested in seeing what Bungie will do next now that they're done with Halo games. It'll also be interesting to see where Microsoft's 343 Studios takes the Halo series next.

Capcom is taking Steel Battalion, a classic, from an Xbox game with the biggest controller to a Kinect game without one so it wouldn't surprise me if Halo Kinect is on the horizon.
