Seeing as this was 2002, I was running Opera at the time, which had one of the first built in popup blockers... so I didn't know the page did that.

Apparently he was working on a term paper or something and I caused his computer to crash. Whee!

Nope. I managed to avoid long-term bans until 2007/2008 even though I do remember blujay nearly banning me at some point (in 2002 as well).

Didn't Pommy get deadminified for doing something similar? The only thing I remember was some other admin posting something like "I can't believe Pommy did that!". Oh poo.

but I never go to the chat only once or twice and people were talking about toe nails so I left

some time in 2000 i told someone to kiss my ass when they insulted the band me and a friend were starting after mentioning some of our influences and he decided to criticize a band that had yet to even write a complete song let alone record anything

and no that band didn't record anything... we never could find a stable drummer... one was constantly drunk, one had serious ADD issues, and the other murdered someone

I got de-adminned for doing the same thing to Keds

blu asked me later if i wanted my admin rights back but I don't remember why that didn't happen

I first became acquainted (on the internets) with blujay back when he was a zone.com op in the 90s. If I remember right, he wasn't as ridiculous and ban happy as he was later on Massassi, maybe he feared that Microsoft would take his banstick away and then he'd be just another zoner!

It's like that guy was born to be a dealer of bans on the internet. I wouldn't be surprised if he's since tried to become a cop or a judge so that he could ban people in real life, and then after getting rejected, started his own messageboard that he's desperately trying to get people to join so he can ban them.

And in the end, as he's sitting there looking at his kingdom of banned spambots and threads he started and no one else posted in, desperation takes hold as he realizes that there's only one person left for him to ban. And so he sets eyes on the one username he's never banned before...

FGR, I'm not bitter or angry at blujay, I was never really even annoyed by him even though he banned me from these forums for some months. I am very amused when I think about him, though, because his bans were not only frequent but so delightfully ridiculous as well, and I like to imagine his entire existence revolved around them.

I remember him being a moderately nice guy. I didn't know he was a Zone OP, maybe that's where he had strict rules embedded in his head. Those 'disappearance issues' he had were due to (IIRC) a shoddy internet connection. I want to say he used ISDN, but couldn't be sure.

The days of KOP (not supposed to be said like 'cop' Kroko!) were fun for me. Good people, some of them I wouldn't mind getting in touch with again, but I wouldn't begin to know where to look, as I knew very little about them.

Clans were lame, blujay was lame, but he never banned me.
