A friend's birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks, and I wanted to get him a flight sim (his favorite type of game - although he really liked Portal, but he's not much on FPS). Anyway, he uses a Mac, and I'm having a hard time finding Mac games around here. I even looked on Steam in their new Mac section, but didn't see any flight sims.

The only one I found was on Amazon and it was X-Plane. I know nothing about it, other than it's $44. :/

Are there others? Where is a good place to look?

Well, current flight sims generally aren't too cheap. Here's a list I found.

X3 is a very big game. Takes forever to travel anywhere.

Pacific isn't really a flight sim, it's a mix between an RTS and a semi-arcadey flight combat game.
