I used to think that Spanish having punctuation at the beginning of the sentence was weird. But now I realize that it's kind of silly for us to have punctuation that changes how you read a sentence all the way at the end of it. Same for adjectives, too. We know all about things before we know what they are. The Spanish know what they are, and then discover details. Though, the Spanish punctuation is redundant.

What about languages like Japanese where oftentimes the sentences are in a completely different order? :P

All sentences have the same basic parts. How you arrange them is rather arbitrary. They need an actor, and object, and a verb, and there's not much more to it than that.
